WHAT IS AVIATION EXPLORING?

​The Exploring program at Denton Enterprise Airport is a unique career exploration opportunity for youth aged 14-20. 

As a participant, you will get hands-on experience to explore aviation as a career field. You will also develop valuable networking contacts with aviation professionals and get to know other youth with your same interests and aspirations.

hOW DOES IT WORK?

The Denton program, Exploring Post #7002, meets twice per month with activities such as flight simulations, tours, guest speakers from the aviation industry, and hands-on workshops in areas such as aircraft maintenance, flight operations, and air traffic control.

Importantly, the program emphasizes leadership development and youth participants will plan and lead the program with oversight from an advisory committee of adult aviation professionals.
