AIRPORT REGULATIONS

Denton Enterprise Airport operates under a framework of regulations and policies designed to maintain safe, efficient, and fair operations for all users.

REGULATORY DOCUMENTS

The following documents outline the rules, standards, and requirements that ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

  • Chapter 3 of the Denton Code of Ordinances is the governing code established by the City of Denton that defines the legal and operational framework for Denton Enterprise Airport.

  • The Airport Rules and Regulations is detailed set of rules and procedures for the use of airport facilities, applicable to pilots, tenants, and visitors.

  • The Minimum Operating Standards is a set of standards for conducting commercial aeronautical activity on the Airport, including minimum levels of services and insurance requirements specific to types of airport businesses.

  • The Rates and Fees Schedule is a comprehensive list of rates and fees assessed by the airport.

AIRPORT POLICIES

Airport policies apply to certain Airport activities and reflect its commitment to safety, equity, and quality service.

  • The Leasing and Development Policy provides guidelines for leasing airport property and developing facilities on airport land, including terms and procedures for prospective tenants, ensuring alignment with the Airport’s long-term goals and federal regulatory obligations.

  • The Airport Access Policy establishes and defines the rules, requirements, and restrictions for obtaining and maintaining access to, and operating a vehicle in, the Air Operations Area ("airside") of the Airport.
