Airport Leadership & Governance

At Denton Enterprise Airport, we are committed to fostering a signature aviation experience while serving our community. With a shared passion for aviation and a dedication to safety, our team works tirelessly to ensure the Airport remains a vital hub for general aviation, business, and economic growth.

City Council

The Denton City Council serves as the governing body for the Airport with ultimate decision-making authority. The City Council also provides strategic direction to ensure the Airport is aligned with the overall goals of the community.

Airport Advisory Board

The Airport Advisory Board serves in an advisory capacity to the City Council on issues including airport safety, infrastructure improvements, long-term planning, and the Airport budget. The Board is also an important source of input and feedback to Airport staff.

The Board generally meets the second Wednesday of the month at 3:00 p.m. at the Denton Enterprise Airport Terminal Building, 5000 Airport Rd., as needed. Airport Advisory Board meeting agendas are available at www.cityofdenton.com/publicmeetings.
