On April 1, 2025, the City of Denton adopted a new rates and fees schedule for Denton Enterprise Airport.  This schedule included a new Access Fee of $50 every two years for access card holders.   While the implementation of this fee was delayed, the Airport will be collecting the access fee from existing cardholders from Jan. 2, 2026, through Feb. 13, 2026. As part of ongoing airfield improvements, Skylane Drive will permanently close between Airport Road and Spartan Drive beginning at 6:00 a.m. on Monday, December 15, 2025 .
