Help Feed Families with the Denton Enterprise Airport Holiday Food Drive

Updated: 10 hours ago

This holiday season, Denton Enterprise Airport and Sheltair Aviation are hosting a food drive to support local families facing food insecurity—and we’re asking our airport community to help make a difference.

From November 7 through December 5, we’re collecting non-perishable food items to donate to the Denton Community Food Center ahead of the holiday season. Whether you’re a flight student, tenant, or visitor, your donation can help ensure no family goes without a meal this Thanksgiving.

📍Main Drop-Off Locations:

  • Airport Administration Building – 5000 Airport Rd. (open 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.)

  • Sheltair Aviation Lobby – 5035 Warbird Dr.

  • Discover Denton Visitors Center - 111 W. Hickory St.

📍Additional Airport Drop-Off Locations:

  • Med-Trans Corp

  • In the Pattern

🥫 Most Needed Items:

  • Peanut Butter

  • Cereal (popular brands, 12–20 oz; please avoid oversized or combo boxes)

🍽️ Other Great Items to Donate:

  • Canned Corn

  • Dry Beans

  • Pasta Sauce (16 & 24 oz)

  • Canned Fruit

  • Canned Tuna or Chicken

  • Canned Tomatoes

  • Rice (1 lb. bags)

  • Mac & Cheese (7.25 oz)

Why It Matters

As we prepare for a season of gratitude, let’s not forget those in our community who are struggling. A simple donation—just one or two items—can help bring comfort and nourishment to a family in need.

Help us show how much our community cares.
