Permanent Closure of a Portion of Skylane Drive Begins December 15

As part of ongoing airfield improvements, Skylane Drive will permanently close between Airport Road and Spartan Drive beginning at 6:00 a.m. on Monday, December 15, 2025.
This closure is necessary to support the extension of Taxilane Hotel and connect it to airport property east of Skylane Drive. The project is a key step in increasing airfield access to airport property and supporting
airport growth.
Starting on Dec. 15, all landside airport roads south of Taxilane Hotel must be accessed via John Carrell Road. We encourage all airport users, tenants, and visitors to plan ahead and begin using John Carrell Road to access the southern end of the airport (see map below).
